Sashi Gajendran, Proprietor
Sashi Gajendran is an entrepreneur who had completed her professional training in Corporate Secreteryship in a reputed college in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She started her career as a trainee transcriptionist at Nittany Decision Services, Pvt., Ltd., on June 17, 1994. She was part of the first batch of transcriptionists trained in Asia. Over the next six and a half years, Sashi held various positions in the transcription value chain at Nittany with distinction, including but not limited to Transcriptionist, Editor, Senior Editor, Quality Control Executive, Assistant Manager – Quality Control, etc. During this period, Sashi had spent two useful stints at client locations in the US – one at Atlanta, Georgia, and one at State College, Pennsylvania. She had spent close to 15 months training under the direct supervision of US Editors as well as supervisors. She also spent time learning the business from the other side of the ocean, namely interacting with the hospital records department personnel, doctors, etc.
Once she came back to India, she set up Sashi Enterprises in the year 2001. From the humble beginning of a two-computer operation that used to operate out of her home, she has transformed the company to a leading player in India in the home-based medical transcription space. Her commitment to Quality Control, her eye for detail, her consistent quality delivery mechanism, and her ability to get the best out of her team consistently have been particularly appreciated by the US clients.


Solomon Kishore Kumar, CEO & CFO
Solomon Kishore Kumar is an Operational and Financial specialist who has completed his Bachelor of Science in Physics in a reputed college in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Then, he went on to complete his Masters in English Literature at the Madras University. Solomon started his career as a trainee medical transcriptionist at Nittany Decision Services Pvt., Ltd., on June 18, 1994. He was part of the first batch of transcriptionists trained in Asia. From that point on, over the next six and a half years, he held various positions at Nittany with distinction, including but not limited to Training Manager, Operations In-Charge, Projects In-Charge, as well as Manager. He headed the Transcription Division at Nittany for over three years.
After his stint at Nittany, he headed the transcription operation at IQ Tech Pvt., Ltd., a part of the Ramco Group of Companies as General Manager for a period of one year. After his one-year stint there, he headed the IT Division at the Shriram Group for over three years as General Manager.
Solomon joined Sashi Enterprises for the sole purpose of expanding operations and to provide professional solutions to clients’ requirements. Till date, as CEO and CFO of Sashi Enterprises, he has discharged his duties with distinction, transforming the company from a two-computer operation to a leading player in India in the home-based medical transcription space.
